RAFAC Paper Aeroplane Competition 2024
Welcome to Swift Aircraft’s Paper Aeroplane Competition.
Do you have what it takes to win the coveted trophy: The Flight Time Cup (and a selection of goodies) for your Squaron?
There will also be a small prize for Best Paper Aeroplane Name and Best Social Media Content.

Competition Rules
One entry per Squadron. (The Squadron can either choose to design one paper aeroplane as a team or hold an internal competition for cadets with the winning entry submitted to Swift. The Squadron Leader’s decision will be final)
The submission must be made via the Swift Aircraft website by midnight on 31st December. A video must be included in the submission.
The aircraft must be hand launched from floor level.
The time will start when the paper aeroplane leaves the hand and will conclude when it hits the floor or hard surface.
Swift branded paper must be used in the final submission. Paper clips, sticky tape and glue may also be used, no other materials may be used.
Winners will be notified in the new year
The winning Squadron will will the Challenge cup, other goodies for their Squadron and an invite to visit Swift at Scottow (formerly RAF Coltishall)

Collect this from the Swift Aircraft Stand at the RAFAC Industry Day on 21st August.

Download the files below and print yourself. There is no limits to the weight of paper you use in the rules of this competition, so think carefully about how this may impact the Aeroplane design!
